So it's 18 days untill Christmas. You would have thought that by now the festive feelings of peace and good will on earth would be warming our hearts and making our souls glow with happiness. Apparently not.

First Train Home - Imogen Heap
I went to see Imogen Heap in Liverpool during her England tour last year, with my boyfriend @mrbenopolis. She is absolutely amazing, and incredibly talented. Continuing my theme of songs related to trains, I hope you enjoy First Train Home. It is her first single from the album Ellipse.

The Roast-ess with the mostest?
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, as the saying goes. But on my train journey on this foggy Monday morning, I over heard two women that took this to the extreme....
Pardon me boys, is that the Chattanooga Choo Choo?
This song came on my shuffle this morning, it always makes me smile and reminds me of dancing with my gorgeous young cousins, my muma (@mumaclarkesays on twitter) and my nana at my 21st Vintage Tea Birthday Party.
Enjoy!

Is it a cloud?! NO! Is it fog?! NO! Its chemical spray!!....Wait…What?
This mornings commute started out pleasantly, I had a seat opposite a cute old couple heading off on holiday, knowing they wouldn’t be disturbing me before my stop, I shuffled into a comfy position, closed my eyes and proceeded to have a much needed doze. The carriage chatter was just a quiet hum of conversation, comforting and easy to block out….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Armistice Day
There is a crowd of people at the station, waiting to wave the troops goodbye. The young soldier desperately lean out of windows; delaying saying that final goodbye to loved ones; family; friends. Children are lifted up to kiss their fathers; their little rosy faces confused by the raw emotion hanging in the air. A few women try standing on something or are held up by the soldiers in the windows; talking close, whispering sweet nothings before kissing husbands and boyfriends for what might be the last time.

Railway Rules for Jolly Journeys
Having spent a lot of time on trains getting annoyed with other passengers, I thought I would compile a nice little list for you all of rules to make other passengers think you are the travelling companion from heaven.

Train - Drops of Jupiter
Another favourite song for listening to on the train.
The Girl with the 5 Spirals in her Hair, and co.
My apologies dear followers, for my lack of
contact lately, but I have been a very busy bunny. A lot can happen in a
month, and I feel it is my duty to give you a quick up date. I have
waved good-bye to the big smoke, and the horrible tube journeys are now a
distant memory. I have moved back to my University City of Leeds, and
have begun working for a prestigious television company in Manchester.
This means, of course, that I now have a different commuter route to keep me entertained for 5 hours a day.
